Where it works best

Hang it so the bottom of the globes sits 30 to 36 in above a dining table, or higher in a foyer where people walk beneath it. At 30 in wide, it suits a table about 48 to 60 in across, or a round table seating 4 to 6. In a living room, center it in the seating area and pair with table lamps. Echo the Satin Nickel with hardware, mirrors or sconces nearby.

Who this is not for

Cog is rated for dry locations only, so it is for interior rooms and not for porches or baths with showers. The sloped-ceiling limit is 15 degrees, which is less than many ET2 canopies. Use a dimmer rated for ELV or Triac CL loads, because other types can cause flicker. At 11.44 lb, the ceiling box should be rated for the fixture.
