The ET2 Canello is a slim, wet-rated linear wall light with a white polycarbonate diffuser, in 24, 30 and 48 inch lengths. It puts out 1090 to 3140 lumens of even light for facades, walkways and entries, and it runs on 120 to 277V for commercial jobs.

A black aluminum body holds a white diffuser that spreads the light in a smooth, glare-free line. The backplate is 4.5 in square and the projection is 4 in, so it reads as a slim bar rather than a lantern. Mounting is flexible, and the fixture works vertically as a column of light or in other orientations. Rated life is 50000 hours. The black finish with a white glow suits Modern, Contemporary and Industrial building exteriors, and it also fits indoor corridors.

Which size for which room

• 24 in: 24.5 in long, 1090 lumens on 14 W. A short bar for a narrow entry, a gate or a secondary door.
• 30 in: 30 in long, 1460 lumens on 20 W. A good height for a standard front door or a patio wall.
• 48 in: 48 in long, 3140 lumens on 40 W. The longest bar lights a tall facade, a stair tower or a commercial entry.

Where it works best

Install bars vertically on either side of an entry or in a repeating rhythm along a building wall. Horizontal runs also work under canopies. The 48 in length is best on facades with 10 ft or higher ceilings. Keep surrounding fixtures plain so the lines of light read clearly.

Who this is not for

The LED is integrated, so the bar cannot be re-lamped, and the diffuser is polycarbonate, not glass. The white glow is fixed at 3000K. It is a general-light fixture, so do not expect pinpoint accent effects on features.

Frequently asked questions

How should I mount the Canello beside a door?

Mount it vertically with the center near 60 to 66 in above the floor for the 24 in. For the 48 in, start the bottom about 3 ft from the floor so the line of light spans the doorway.

Can the Canello be used in rain?

Yes. It is rated for wet locations, so it can go on exposed walls and also works indoors. Seal the 4.5 in backplate to the wall.

Does the Canello dim?

Yes. Dimming is listed as Triac or ELV at 120V, so use a compatible Triac or ELV LED dimmer. At the higher 277V end of the range, have your electrician confirm dimming before planning on it.

Which Canello length should I choose?

Choose 24 in for narrow spots, 30 in for standard doors and 48 in for tall walls or commercial entries. The wattage rises from 14 to 40 W.

What should my electrician know before installing the Canello?

Net weights run 2.1 to 3.5 lb by length. The unit projects 4 in from the wall and has 8 in of lead wire, with input from 120 to 277V, so plan the box position for the length you choose.
