Cyclampa Eddy Bicycle Wheel LED Pendant – 26" or 28" Aluminum Wheel

A real aluminum bicycle wheel, lit around its rim and hung like a sculpture: the most talked-about pendant you can put over a table.

The Cyclampa Eddy, designed by Fabio Antinori, turns an original die-cast aluminum bicycle wheel into an LED pendant. A high-capacity LED strip with an on-board thermal control chip lights the rim, the chromed steel body is an original fork component, and the aluminum ceiling cap is wrapped in hand-stitched eco-leather. Choose a 26" or 28" wheel.

Best for

Dining tables, kitchen islands with high ceilings, entries and stairwells, cafés, bike shops and showrooms. Our rule of thumb: pick the 28" for long tables or rooms over 10 ft, the 26" for smaller spaces.

Who this is not for

Anyone who needs published lumen, color temperature or UL/ETL data for a permit or spec sheet (the distributor doesn't publish them), anyone who needs it within days rather than weeks, and rooms with low ceilings where a large wheel would crowd the space.

Why we carry it

We've been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Eddy is the kind of piece we look for: honest materials, a clear idea and a story every guest asks about. It is functional sculpture, not a novelty.

Buy once: durability and care

Our advice (the distributor doesn't publish care instructions): dust the wheel and spokes with a soft dry cloth, wipe the chrome with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, and keep the leather cap away from moisture. Turn the power off before cleaning.

Frequently asked questions

How far can the Cyclampa Eddy drop, and is the height adjustable?

Yes. Eddy hangs on three steel cables that adjust by about 75 cm (29.5 in) up or down, according to VICI. The overall fixture height is not published, so measure your ceiling and table before ordering and ask us if you need help.

Should I choose the 26-inch or the 28-inch Eddy?

The 26" wheel draws 45 W and the 28" draws 52 W. Our rule of thumb: the 28" has more presence over a long dining table or in a tall entry, while the 26" suits smaller rooms and lower ceilings.

Can the Eddy pendant be dimmed from a wall dimmer?

VICI lists an "infinity switch" and an on-board LED driver but does not publish dimmer compatibility. Please don't assume it works with a standard wall dimmer; contact us before ordering if dimming matters.

Does the Eddy need professional installation?

VICI doesn't publish wiring details. Our advice: have a licensed electrician install any ceiling-hung fixture and confirm it meets your local code.

What light source does Eddy use?

An integrated high-capacity LED strip runs around the wheel rim, with a thermal control chip on board. There are no bulbs to change. Lumens and color temperature are not published.

How long does delivery take for the Eddy?

Eddy is delivered direct from Italy in 4–6 weeks.
