Best for

Best for living rooms where one table pulls out for guests and tucks away again. Set it within easy reach of the seat, roughly level with the sofa arm (24–26") or, beside a bed, close to the mattress top (our guide).

Who this is not for

• Low, deep lounge seating: at 22.8" it stands well above a 17–19" seat; it suits a sofa arm or a bedside better (our guide).
• Heavy loads: TOV rates the top for up to 240 lb.
• Anyone who needs Burgundy within days: that option is currently on pre-order.
• Outdoor use: this is an indoor table; TOV makes separate indoor/outdoor concrete and ceramic tables.
