Best Rooms and Placement

Choose the length to be a little shorter than the surface it sits on: the 43.3 in (110 cm) for a desk or console, the 62.2 in (158 cm) for a work table, and the 71.7 in (182 cm) for long library or dining tables. At 14.2 in (36 cm) high, it clears a monitor and does not block sight lines. In offices and studios, it can replace a pair of ordinary desk lamps. Keep clear of the cord path when you position it.

Planning Notes

• Measure your surface and choose a length that leaves room around the ends.
• Decide between the with-switch and no-switch versions before ordering.
• Weights range from 6.1 lb (2.78 kg) to 13.2 lb (6.0 kg), so check the table can carry it.

Who This Is Not For

• Bathrooms or outdoor use: it is rated IP20, indoor and dry only.
• Small side tables: even the shortest is 43.3 in (110 cm) long.
• Replaceable bulbs: the LED is integrated.

Care

Our advice: unplug, then wipe the aluminum with a soft dry cloth. Skip abrasive cleaners to protect the finish.
