Best Rooms and Placement

Jerry fits on a desk, a nightstand or an end table, wherever you need soft light at arm's length. On a desk, put it at the corner opposite your writing hand to avoid shadows. On a bedside table, it leaves room for a book and a glass. In a pair, it frames a bed or a sofa evenly. Pick white with beige for a gentle look, or black with white where you want a crisp accent.

Planning Notes

• Check your tabletop has 14 in (35 cm) of free width for the shade.
• Select a warm-white E26 LED bulb; none is included.
• Keep an outlet within reach so the cord stays tidy.

Who This Is Not For

• Bathrooms and outdoor areas: it is IP20 for dry, indoor rooms.
• Close, bright task work: the cotton shade gives soft, uniform light.
• Very small nightstands under 14 in (35 cm) wide.

Care

Our advice: dust the shade with a soft brush and wipe the metal with a dry cloth. Spot-clean the cotton gently if it needs it.
