The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from storage and textiles to bath and door hardware, drawing on the company’s own metal and design know-how that goes back to 1961.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. WILO is the blomus wood line we recommend for spa-like baths and calm offices: everyday essentials in beautifully grained hardwood that look warm rather than utilitarian. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry straight away; do not soak and avoid abrasive cleaners. Natural wood grain means every WILO piece looks a little different.
