blomus WEDO Rubber Wedge Door Stop with Steel Hook

A non-slip rubber door wedge with a brushed stainless-steel hook that pulls it free and hangs it on the door handle.

WEDO is 4.75" long, 2" wide and 1.1" high: a firm, skid-resistant rubber wedge that slides under the door and holds it. The brushed 18/8 stainless-steel hook on top does two jobs: it gives you something to pull, so you never have to dig the wedge out with your toes, and it lets you hang the wedge on the door handle when you do not need it. Simple, small and much nicer than a loose rubber block.

The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from storage and textiles to bath and door hardware, drawing on the company’s own metal and design know-how that goes back to 1961.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. WEDO is the door wedge we recommend for doors you only prop open now and then: a non-slip rubber wedge with a brushed stainless-steel hook that pulls it out easily and hangs it on the handle. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry. The skid-resistant rubber keeps the wedge from sliding on hard floors.
