The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from furniture and textiles to home fragrance, drawing on the company’s own design know-how that goes back to 1961.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. NONA is the blomus porcelain line we suggest for small flowers and herbs: playful, rounded shapes in raw, unglazed porcelain with a gentle matte texture. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
