A weighted stainless-steel paper towel holder that lets you tear off a single sheet with one hand.
LOOP by Nina Thöming stands on a 4 lb (1.8 kg) stainless-steel base with a ridged rubber underside, so it won’t tip or slide. Two springs on the center rod keep the roll centered, and a steel side arm with a plastic tip rests against the roll so one hand is enough to pull and tear a sheet. It is 13.4" tall and fits standard rolls. Choose matte brushed steel, or powder-coated Black or Moonbeam.

The designer: Nina Thöming
Nina Thöming (born 1984) is an industrial designer with Flöz Design, a German studio that has worked with blomus for about 15 years. She begins every project by researching what people need and where the market falls short, then turns those findings into objects that are useful first and beautiful too. Her other blomus designs include the PILAR tableware, the SPLASH carafe and the SONO bath range.

It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
