blomus LARETO Silicone Coasters in Steel Holder, Set of 6

Six round silicone coasters stored in a brushed stainless-steel holder, so they stay together and close at hand.

LARETO by Nina Thöming is a set of six soft silicone coasters that live stacked inside a brushed 18/8 stainless-steel holder, 4.4" across and 1.6" tall. Take out as many as you need, and put them back when the table is cleared, so none go missing. The silicone grips the glass and protects wood, glass and lacquered surfaces.

The designer: Nina Thöming

Nina Thöming (born 1984) is an industrial designer with Flöz Design, a German studio that has worked with blomus for about 15 years. She begins every project by researching what people need and where the market falls short, then turns those findings into objects that are useful first and beautiful too. Her other blomus designs include the PILAR tableware, the SPLASH carafe and the SONO bath range.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. LARETO keeps six silicone coasters stacked in a brushed stainless-steel holder, so they are always together and always within reach. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
