Sale Sold out

A soy-wax scented candle in a colored concrete container, in a large 10 oz or small 4 oz size and eleven natural scents.

FRAGA candles are poured from natural soy wax with no palm, and their scents are drawn from nature, so a room is lightly perfumed rather than overpowered. The Large holds 10 oz (290 g) and burns about 55 hours; the Small holds 4 oz (114 g) and burns about 24 hours. Each scent has its own concrete color: French Cotton (floral with a sweet herbal note), Fig (herbal and floral with a spicy, fruity edge), Sea Salt & Sage (fresh herbs and fruit over wood, with a touch of lavender), Sandalwood Myrrh (warm and woody), Soft Linen (clean and fresh with light florals), Rose & White Musk (herbal and floral with a rosy citrus note), Kyoto Yume (spicy florals and wood with a hint of vanilla), Cinnamon & Apple (warm and spicy), Bergamot Orange (sunny citrus with pepper and coriander), Morning Rays (passion fruit, coconut and rose) and, in the small size, Royal Leather (earthy with a light smoky note). Once the candle is finished, the concrete jar becomes a pot for a small succulent or a storage cup.

The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from lighting to home fragrance, with the company’s own design know-how that goes back to 1961.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. FRAGA is the blomus home-fragrance line we suggest to people who find most scented candles too strong: soy wax with no palm, scents drawn from nature that perfume a room lightly, and colored concrete containers that match blomus textiles and vases. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Trim the wick and let the wax melt across the surface on every burn; never leave a burning candle unattended or near drafts. Concrete is porous, so keep it dry and wipe it with a dry cloth. Once a candle has burned down, blomus suggests reusing the concrete container as a storage jar or a pot for small succulents.
