SCA brings order and brightness to a dining room, a restaurant table, a loft living space or a hotel lobby. From a 24-inch square canopy, nine narrow cones (under 11 inches long and a little over 2 inches wide) hang at one height in a three-by-three grid. The grid reads as one calm, architectural fixture rather than nine separate lights, and it suits Modern, Industrial and Transitional interiors in homes and commercial spaces.

The cones send their light straight down, giving a bright, even plane of 3573 lumens at 3000K and 90 CRI over the table or seating below, with very little glare toward the eye. With the driver housed in the canopy, it works with TRIAC, ELV or 0-10V dimmers, and the installer can set the drop anywhere from 11 to 110 inches so it can sit low over a table or high in a tall space. About Blackjack Lighting and Stephen Blackman

Blackjack Lighting is a design- and technology-driven lighting maker based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, outside Chicago. It is led by industrial designer Stephen Blackman, its President and Chief Design Officer. A Syracuse University industrial design graduate, he entered the lighting industry in 1984 at Sonneman Design Group and founded his own studio, Blackman Design Associates, in 1988, designing for manufacturers such as Kichler Lighting before launching Blackjack in 2013. His focus has always been practical: fixtures built around LED light from the start, with even, glare-free light for real work.

How high should it hang over a table?

Set the cone tips about 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop. The fixture ships pre-set at 72 inches overall and adjusts from 11 to 110 inches.

What does it need for mounting?

A ceiling junction box with structural support for the 34 lb fixture. The driver is built into the 24 in square canopy, so no remote driver location is needed.

Which dimmers work with it?

TRIAC, ELV and 0-10V dimmers, through the universal driver in the canopy.

Which finish should I choose?

For contrast against a white or light wood ceiling, go with Matte Black. Polished Chrome picks up the colors around it and pairs well with stone, glass and lacquered kitchens or hotel interiors. White comes with a matching white backplate and almost disappears into a pale ceiling, leaving just the light.
