The White Glass Globe is a small, pure sphere of opal glass that glows evenly in every direction. It is the kind of pendant that works almost anywhere: a single one beside a bed or in a powder room, a row of five over a bar or kitchen island, or dozens hung at staggered heights to fill a two-story living room or stair hall with floating points of light. Choose the 3-inch globe for tight spaces and large clusters, or the 5-inch globe when each pendant needs a bit more presence. About Blackjack Lighting and Stephen Blackman

Blackjack Lighting is a design- and technology-driven lighting maker based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, outside Chicago. It is led by industrial designer Stephen Blackman, its President and Chief Design Officer. A Syracuse University industrial design graduate, he entered the lighting industry in 1984 at Sonneman Design Group and founded his own studio, Blackman Design Associates, in 1988, designing for manufacturers such as Kichler Lighting before launching Blackjack in 2013. His focus has always been practical: fixtures built around LED light from the start, and simple forms like the Glass Globe that can be repeated to shape a whole room.

FAQ

3 in or 5 in?

The 3 in globe suits bedsides, small bars and large clusters where many pendants hang together. The 5 in globe gives more presence when pendants hang singly or in a row over an island or table.

Can I make a cluster?

Yes. Order the number of pendants you need and set each cable to a different length on site. Each pendant has its own 5 in canopy and needs its own junction box.

Does it dim?

Yes. The canopy driver supports TRIAC (incandescent-style), ELV and 0-10V dimming.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes. Blackjack rates it for damp locations, so bathrooms and covered porches are fine; keep it away from direct water spray.

Are there bulbs to replace?

No. The LED is integrated, and Blackjack covers the LED and power supply for three years.
