A 94-inch JackTrack channel hangs on aircraft cable from a single canopy; half of it carries a 47-inch linear LED module for broad, even light, and the other half suspends five Novo Short mini pendants in a level row for sparkle and focus. About Blackjack Lighting and Stephen Blackman

Blackjack Lighting is a design- and technology-driven lighting maker based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, outside Chicago. It is led by industrial designer Stephen Blackman, its President and Chief Design Officer. A Syracuse University industrial design graduate, he entered the lighting industry in 1984 at Sonneman Design Group and founded his own studio, Blackman Design Associates, in 1988, designing for manufacturers such as Kichler Lighting before launching Blackjack in 2013. The channel is 94 in (about 7 ft 10 in) long, so it suits islands and tables roughly 8 to 10 ft long. Hang it so the pendants are 30 to 36 in above the surface.

How is it mounted?

One canopy with the driver mounts to a ceiling junction box, and aircraft cables support the channel. The drop adjusts up to 98 in, which also helps on higher ceilings. Have a qualified electrician install it using the JackTrack instructions above.
