Tall Cone is made for height. A precision cast aluminum spike 36 inches long and just 1 inch wide at its base, it draws a slim vertical line through tall spaces: hotel and office lobbies, stairwells, double-height living and dining rooms, atriums and long reception desks. Hung in a group at staggered heights, as in the maker's lobby photo, the cones read like a suspended forest of lines that fills the volume without blocking views. The look is Modern and architectural, at home in contemporary and Transitional interiors.

The light is a quiet glow, not glare. An integrated 3 W LED feeds a frosted optical light guide that ends in a luminous ring at the tip, giving 204 lumens of 3000K light at 90 CRI. Each pendant's 5 in canopy holds a universal driver that dims on TRIAC, ELV or 0-10V controls, so a cluster can be dimmed together for evening ambience. Choose Matte Black, Polished Chrome or White to contrast with or disappear into the ceiling.

About Blackjack Lighting and Stephen Blackman

Blackjack Lighting is a design- and technology-driven lighting maker based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, outside Chicago. It is led by industrial designer Stephen Blackman, its President and Chief Design Officer. A Syracuse University industrial design graduate, he entered the lighting industry in 1984 at Sonneman Design Group and founded his own studio, Blackman Design Associates, in 1988, designing for manufacturers such as Kichler Lighting before launching Blackjack in 2013. His focus has always been practical: fixtures built around LED light from the start, with even, glare-free light, here drawn out into a single luminous line.

What ceiling height does Tall Cone need?

Allow for the 36 in body plus the cable drop. It suits ceilings of about 10 ft and up; keep the tips at least 7 ft above walkways, or 30 to 36 in above a table or counter.

How is it mounted?

Each pendant has a 5 in round canopy that mounts to a standard ceiling junction box, with the driver inside. For tight clusters, Blackjack also offers Multi-Port canopies and JackTrack. Have a qualified electrician install it; see the instructions above.

Which dimmer works?

The integrated universal driver dims on TRIAC, ELV or 0-10V controls.

Which finish should I choose?

Matte Black draws a crisp graphic line against light walls; Polished Chrome adds sparkle in hospitality spaces; White nearly disappears against a white ceiling.

Does it use replaceable bulbs?

No. The LED is built in, and Blackjack covers the LED and power supply for three years.
