Short Cone is a slender, precision-cast aluminum cone just 2.2 inches across, so a row of them over a kitchen island or a hotel reception desk reads as crisp vertical lines instead of bulky shades. In Matte Black with a gold interior, White, or Polished Chrome, it fits Modern, Scandinavian and Transitional kitchens, and it scales up for bars, restaurants, lobbies and retail counters where you want many matching points of light.

Inside, a frosted optical light guide turns a 5-watt LED into 397 lumens of even, glare-free light at 3000K and 90 CRI, so food, stone and wood look natural. About Blackjack Lighting and Stephen Blackman

Blackjack Lighting is a design- and technology-driven lighting maker based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, outside Chicago. It is led by industrial designer Stephen Blackman, its President and Chief Design Officer. A Syracuse University industrial design graduate, he entered the lighting industry in 1984 at Sonneman Design Group and founded his own studio, Blackman Design Associates, in 1988, designing for manufacturers such as Kichler Lighting before launching Blackjack in 2013.
