This is the cord-hung version of Besa Lighting’s Suzi 18, a slender, softly shaped glass cylinder. The cylinder is the same one Besa offers on its other mounts, 6 inches across and 18 inches tall, but it hangs on a 10-foot SVT-type cord whose jacket coordinates with the finish, under a flat canopy with a 5-inch decorative sleeve at the socket holder. You trim the cord to the drop you want at installation, and the canopy installs to a standard 4-inch box and suits sloped ceilings.

Opal Matte is a soft white cased glass with a satin-etched clear outer layer and an even, tranquil glow; Carrera is clear glass rolled in alabaster-like white frit and blown, so the shade shows a quiet marbled pattern and a satin-etched surface. Order the LED version (a 9W replaceable, dimmable LED source is included: 800 lumens at 3000K, CRI 90+) or the incandescent version for a 100W A19 medium-base (E26) bulb of your choice.
