The Juni 16 takes the same transparent bubble glass as the Juni 10 and stretches it to 16 inches, keeping the slim 3.5-inch diameter. The result is a narrow column of light that fills vertical space without widening the footprint, which is exactly what tall rooms and long kitchen islands need.

Pick Clear Bubble for a crisp, neutral look or Blue, Gold, Latte, Moss or Plum for color, with satin nickel, bronze or black hardware. It uses one 60W T10 medium-base bulb (not included); a clear filament-style T10 makes the bubbles sparkle (our advice).

• Low ceilings under about 8 ft over a walkway: the 16" glass plus cord needs headroom.

Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe with a soft dry cloth; for smudges, mist the cloth (not the fixture) with glass cleaner and dry the metal straight away (our advice). Keep to a T10 bulb of 60W or less and have a licensed electrician install it.

How tall is the Besa Juni 16 pendant?

The glass is 16" high and 3.5" in diameter. It is handcrafted, so expect small variations.

Is the Juni 16 too tall for an 8-foot ceiling?

Over a kitchen island it usually works if the bottom of the glass sits about 30–36" above the counter (our advice); over a walkway, keep at least 7 ft of clearance.

Does the Juni 16 come with a bulb?

No. It uses one 60W T10 medium-base bulb, sold separately, and dims with a standard incandescent dimmer.

Can the Juni 16 go in a damp room?

Yes. It is rated for damp locations for interior use, such as bathrooms.

Should I choose Juni 16 or Juni 10 for my island?

Choose the 16 for long islands and ceilings of 9 ft or more; the 10 suits shorter islands and standard ceilings. Both share the same glass and finishes.

Can the Juni 16 be used on a sloped ceiling?

Yes. It mounts to a 4" octagonal or round ceiling box and is suitable for sloped ceilings.
