The Artemide Stab Light Pendant is a pendant light designed by Arik Levy in 2015. In Artemide's words: “Stablight is produced using very traditional glass blowing techniques. The diffuser is crafted out of hand-blown glass layered over a wooden mold, carefully formed by hand from a hard and wet wood. A glass blowing pipe is used to gather several layers of glass in various colors, which is then blown and shaped by hand to create a shape that mirrors that of the wooden mold it is…” Choose finish, model and the light source on this page.

About the designer

Arik Levy. A multi-disciplinary Israeli artist and designer, Arik Levy’s Stab Light for Danese won a 2016 Red Dot design award. Based in Paris, Levy’s multi-media art work is represented by galleries world-wide.

Who this is not for

• Anyone expecting a bulb in the box: the bulb versions take GU10 bulb, 10W max or GU10 bulb, 3×10W max and the bulb is not included.
• Renters or anyone without an electrician: it is hardwired to a junction box.

Care

Our advice: switch off and let it cool, then dust with a soft dry microfiber cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners on painted and anodized aluminum. Artemide does not publish separate care instructions.

The bulb versions take GU10 bulb, 10W max or GU10 bulb, 3×10W max; the bulb is not included. Use an LED bulb of the same base for lower heat and energy use (our advice).
