The Artemide Melampo Wall Light is a wall light designed by Adrien Gardère. In Artemide's words: “A silk satin fabric shade connected to a painted white zamac base via a painted aluminum stem, Melampo mini can be adjusted for direct and indirect light. About the designer

Adrien Gardère. Born in France in 1972, Adrien Gardere creates relevant and innately understandable objects and spaces. Trained as an architect, he works to logically adapt cultural reference points in contemporary mediums whether they be as furniture, wall coverings or museum installations. Since 2004, Gardere has served as Artistic Director for visual arts exhibitions held alongside The Kennedy Center’s “World Stages” international live performance programming.

• Renters or anyone without an electrician: it is hardwired to a junction box.

Our advice: switch off and let it cool, then dust with a soft dry microfiber cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners on painted and anodized aluminum. Artemide does not publish separate care instructions.
