The Artemide Cadmo Wall Light is a wall light designed by Karim Rashid in 2009. In Artemide's words: “A curved aluminum panel envelopes and releases soft indirect light upwards while a separate source emits diffused light along the vertical aperture of the lamp. Karim Rashid (born 1960 in Cairo, raised in Canada) is a prolific industrial designer based in New York, with more than 3,000 designs in production and hundreds of awards. His style is sensual, colorful and unmistakable.

Best for

Bedside reading, hallways, living rooms and offices; anywhere floor and table space is tight.

Who this is not for

• Anyone expecting a bulb in the box: the bulb versions take GU10 bulb, 2×10W max and the bulb is not included.
• Bathrooms, showers, covered porches or outdoor spaces: it is rated IP20 for dry indoor locations.
• Renters or anyone without an electrician: it is hardwired to a junction box.

Our advice: switch off and let it cool, then dust with a soft dry microfiber cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners on painted and anodized aluminum. Artemide does not publish separate care instructions.
