Two glowing opal shapes that light the table and the ceiling at once.
Totem Up/Down stacks two mouth-blown opal glass shades, each with its own LED engine: 1,400 lumens downward for the table and 400 lumens upward to wash the ceiling, 1,800 in all. The first letter of each model is the upper shade, so a BC has a B on top and a C below.
With 16 combinations of the A, B, C and D profiles, it is the most expressive Totem pendant, and dim-to-warm LED (2700K–2200K) keeps it cozy after dark. Totem collection was recognized for Concept and Design at the 2024 Archiproducts Design Awards.

Venezuelan-born industrial designer Pablo Pardo founded Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993, after a career that ran from Fisher-Price roller skates to Chrysler concept cars. His lights have won Best Lighting at ICFF, Best of Competition at NeoCon, a Red Dot and a German Design Award, and SFMOMA holds his work in its permanent collection. It was developed in San Francisco by the Pablo Studio, the company’s in-house team of makers and inventors.

Totem carries a one-year Pablo Designs warranty and an LED rated for 50,000 hours. Our care advice: dust the glass with a soft dry cloth; for a deeper clean, remove the shade and wash it by hand in lukewarm soapy water, then dry it fully before refitting. Hardwired models should be installed by a licensed electrician.
