Pablo Designs Candél Portable LED Lamp – Rechargeable, Warm Dim

The candle, reimagined: an award-winning fluted lantern that glows a flickerless, candle-warm 1800K and lasts up to 150 hours on a charge.

Candél is a 10.5-inch fluted acrylic vessel with an anodized aluminum light module at its heart. Touch the top to choose one of four levels; as it dims, the light shifts from 2500K to a deep, candle-like 1800K, and the ribbed body scatters it into a soft, shimmering glow. A full charge lasts 10 to 150+ hours, and the included USB cable recharges it.

Designed by the Pablo Studio in San Francisco, Candél won a 2020 Hospitality Design Product Award and Gold in Illumination at the 2021 International Design Awards. Choose Clear/Silver, Bronze/Brass, Clear/White or Smoke/Black. Candél won Gold for Illumination at the 2021 International Design Awards and a 2020 Hospitality Design Product Award.

Who this is not for

• Anyone needing reading or task light: Candél is 100 lumens of ambient glow.
• Fully outdoor use in rain or sprinklers: it is rated IP20, so use it outside only in dry conditions (the Luci is IP54).
• Anyone who wants an exact candle flicker effect: Candél gives steady, flicker-free light.

Why we carry it

MetropolitanDecor is an authorized Pablo Designs retailer, curating design-led lighting since 2009. Candél is the cordless lamp restaurants ask us for by name, and it is easy to see why: it looks like a sculpted glass vessel, glows like candlelight and lasts for days. Pablo Designs has made lighting in San Francisco since 1993.

Buy once: durability and care

There are no bulbs or wicks to replace, and Candél carries a one-year Pablo Designs warranty. Our care advice: dust the acrylic vessel with a soft microfiber cloth (avoid paper towels and solvents, which can scratch acrylic), keep it out of rain and sprinklers, and recharge it every few months when it is stored.
