The OKU round tray by Peter Lienhart is a disc of solid oak with a low raised edge, 0.8" high. The small size (9.9") holds a coffee for two, a candle group or keys by the door; the medium size (13.4") carries breakfast, drinks or a cheese course. Natural oak shows the grain; Black is a lacquered finish.

The designer: Peter Lienhart

Peter Lienhart (born 1969) holds a degree in industrial design from Pforzheim University in Germany. His work starts from pure shapes in which every detail has a reason, backed by long experience with the technical side of home products. For blomus he has also designed the FAROL and MITURO LED lamps.

OKU trays are made of solid oak certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), sourced from Northern European forests. Natural lets the grain show; Black is a lacquered finish that turns the tray into a dark frame for whatever sits on it. Each tray has a low raised edge. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
