blomus CARO Waffle Cotton Washcloths, Set of 2

Two cotton waffle washcloths, 12 × 12 inches, with a gentle texture for face and body.

This set includes two CARO washcloths, each 12" × 12" (30 × 30 cm), in a cotton waffle weave whose raised texture gives a light exfoliating feel. They rinse out easily and dry quickly between uses. Choose from seven blomus colors to match CARO bath and hand towels. The waffle weave is light and absorbent and dries faster than thick terry. Made in India from OEKO-TEX Standard 100; machine washable; dry on low heat.

The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s everyday pieces in close contact with the company’s own production know-how, which goes back to 1961, and keeps each series in the shared blomus color palette so pieces can be combined across collections.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. CARO is the blomus waffle towel we recommend for anyone who prefers a lighter towel: an absorbent, tear-resistant cotton waffle weave that dries quickly between uses. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Machine washable. Dry on low or line-dry: blomus notes that high heat in the dryer can make waffle towels lose their shape. The waffle weave holds more air than flat terry, so the towel feels light and dries faster.
