The Besa Niles 10 is a semi-flush ceiling fixture. Its glass: Broad transparent glass cylinder, hand-blown with a random bubble pattern, in Amber, Blue, Clear or Smoke; each color also comes with an inner opal cylinder that hides the lamp and softens the light. Without the inner opal the lamp shows through the bubbles for a vintage, exposed look; with it, the cylinder glows evenly and the bubbles sparkle around it. It is sized for entries, hallways, kitchens, bedrooms, stairwells and bathrooms.

Order it with incandescent lamping (one 60W T10 medium-base lamp of your choice, not included) or, for the Bubble/Opal glasses, as the LED version with a replaceable 9W LED lamp included: 800 lumens at 3000K, CRI 90+, rated 30,000 hours. The 5-inch canopy and the glass retainer come in Black, Bronze or Satin Nickel, and the fixture drops about 9 inches from the ceiling. At 9.5" diameter x 9" H overall it keeps the glass on show without hanging low.

Buy once: durability and care

Switch off and let it cool, then wipe the glass with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild soapy water and dry it; avoid abrasive cleaners (our advice). The LED lamp is replaceable and rated for 30,000 hours. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended; 90°C supply wire is required for incandescent lamping.
