Best for

Best for game rooms, living rooms and dens that host mahjong, card and board-game nights, with ottomans that tuck under the table and a top that doubles as a breakfast table. Allow about 36" around the table so players can pull the ottomans out, and slide them under the table when the game is over (our advice).

Who this is not for

• Homes that want a knock-proof top: glass needs a little more care than wood or concrete (our advice).
• Outdoor use: this is an indoor set; TOV makes separate indoor/outdoor concrete and ceramic tables.
