Leg finishes

This is the steel-legged Zeyno stool: the channel-stitched seat on four plastic-tipped steel legs joined by footrests, at counter or bar height. Steel makes it the sturdiest Zeyno stool, rated for 350 lb, and the easiest to wipe down in restaurant bars and family kitchens. Chrome and stainless steel suit white, marble and glass counters; black powder coat suits Industrial kitchens and dark stone. The seat is the same sprung, foam-molded Zeyno seat as the dining chairs, with a removable Velcro slipcover.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• Allow about 22 in of counter edge per stool.
• Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the underside of the counter.
• Add felt pads under the plastic tips on hardwood.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
