Seat frame and base finishes

The Zebra Cat-Wire stool sets the wire Zebra shell on a square frame base of solid steel wire, the Cattelan-style base with straight legs, a squared footprint and a footrest on each side. Its straight lines contrast with the curved shell and keep a row of stools looking orderly, which suits restaurant bars and long kitchen counters. Choose a chrome, black or brass base and a black, chrome, brass or polished gold shell. It is also the most accessible Zebra stool on price, and its seat and back pad lift out for cleaning.

• The seats run low: the 22 in counter seat suits 33 to 35 in counters and the 26 in bar seat suits 37 to 39 in bars.
• Allow about 28 in of counter edge per stool with arms.
• The squared base sits stable on tile and concrete.
• Mix a brass shell with a black base for a two-tone look.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
