Base finishes

The Tribeca Office Chair is a shallow tub armchair: the back curves around into low arms at 25 in, and the 19 in depth keeps it compact enough to pull close to a desk or table. On a five-star office base it gets gas-lift height from 16 to 19 in, swivel and tilt. The seat is a steel frame with S-shaped springs molded in injected polyurethane foam, with a removable cover. It is a strong choice for conference rooms, dental and medical offices and home offices that want a hug-shaped chair without a bulky footprint.

• At only 19 in deep, Tribeca leaves more room behind the desk than most armchairs.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
