Seat frame and leg finishes

The Tiger Pyramid Wood Swivel Stool takes the full-size Tiger wire seat up to counter or bar height on four splayed solid wood legs with a round metal footrest. The seat swivels so you can turn from the island to the room without shuffling the stool, and the footrest ring gives a comfortable place to rest your feet at a high seat. Solid beech in a walnut finish or natural ash keeps it Scandinavian, while American walnut with a gold footrest dresses it up for a bar. The PPM-FR pad lifts out for cleaning.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter (25.5 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; choose Bar (30 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
• This is the full-size Tiger seat at 21 in wide; allow about 26 in of counter per stool.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

Frequently asked questions

Counter or bar height?

Counter stools have a 25.5 in seat for 35 to 37 in counters. Bar stools have a 30 in seat for 40 to 42 in bar tops.

Does it swivel?

Yes. The seat swivels above the wood legs, which stay planted.

Is there a footrest?

Yes, a round metal footrest ring: chrome on the beech, ash and white-mechanism walnut bases, gold on the black-mechanism walnut base.

How is it different from the Tiger Mini Pyramid Wood stool?

This stool uses the full-size Tiger seat (21 in wide). The Mini has a smaller seat (17 to 18 in wide) for tighter counters.

Why do the prices differ?

A black powder-coated seat frame costs less than chrome or brass, and either American walnut base adds a surcharge over beech or ash.

What wood is it?

Solid beech with a walnut finish, solid natural ash, or solid American walnut.
