Seat frame and base finishes

The Tiger Mini Max Swivel Stool is the compact Tiger on a swivel steel base: four straight tubular legs with a footrest carry a turning seat, so you can face the counter or the room without moving the stool. It is the go-to Mini for kitchen islands that double as a hangout spot, and for bars where guests turn to talk. Bases come in black, polished stainless steel, a walnut finish or brass, and the bar version sits a little higher than most at 30.5 in. Pads are faux leather or PPM-FR, or your own material.

Planning notes

• Choose Counter (24.5 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters; Bar (30.5 in seat) for 41 to 43 in bar tops.
• At 17 in square, plan about 22 in of counter per stool.
• Only the brass base carries a surcharge.
• The seat swivels; the legs stay fixed to the floor.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
