Seat upholstery. The Tiger Chair is one welded piece, so the frame finish you pick covers the seat and the legs. Each pad color is shown once and fits both frames. PPM-FR is a flame-retardant polyurethane performance faux leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Seat frame and base finishes

The Tiger Chair is the original of the family: seat shell and legs are one continuous piece of welded steel wire, so the whole chair reads as a single drawn line. It suits dining rooms, cafes and hotel restaurants that want a light, see-through chair that does not crowd a table. Pick black powder coat for an Industrial or Modern look, or brass for a warmer, dressier room. A removable PPM-FR pad softens the seat and lifts off for cleaning, and the frame is rated for 300 lb.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

No. This is a fixed four-leg chair. For a swivel, look at the Tiger Pyramid, Stick, Sword, Carrot or Spider chairs.

Can it be used outside?

The black frame can be given a cataphoresis anti-corrosion coating for year-round outdoor use, with an outdoor fabric pad. The coating cannot go on the brass finish. Contact us before ordering.

Why do the prices differ?

The black powder-coated chair costs less than the brass-finish chair. The pad color does not change the price.
