Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM is a polyurethane performance leather. The off white seat is a boucle fabric, Camira Blazer is a woven wool contract fabric, and the black seat is genuine leather. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

Base finishes

The Soho Flat armchair stands on a sled of flat solid steel bar in chrome, a cantilever-style base that gives the squared Soho body a crisp, floating look. Plastic glides are set into the underside of the bar, so it moves smoothly and quietly. It was conceived for lounges and waiting areas, yet the 18 in seat and 26 in arms are dining height, so the same chair can line a reception area and pull up to a meeting table. Seat, back and arms share a sprung steel frame in molded foam under a removable Velcro slipcover.

Planning notes

• The 18 in seat works at 29 to 30 in tables as well as in lounge groupings.
• The flat bar sled is about as wide as the chair; allow 26 to 28 in per chair in a row.
• Embedded glides protect hard floors without extra pads.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
