Base finishes

The Seminyak Stick sets the wraparound Seminyak shell on a swivel base of four straight steel tubes that angle out from the center like a tripod, and it offers the widest finish range in the family. Choose chrome, black, walnut or natural wood veneer, gold or brass to tie the chair to light fixtures, table bases or hardware. The seat turns while the legs stay put, so diners can swing toward the room without dragging the chair. The foam-on-plywood shell is fully upholstered and generously wide, suited to Contemporary dining rooms, lounges and executive offices.

Planning notes

• The 18 in seat suits 29 to 30 in tables.
• At 25 in wide, allow about 28 to 30 in of table edge per chair.
• The splayed legs need a little space behind the chair; leave 36 in from table edge to wall.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
