Base finishes

The Seminyak Tower pairs the curving Seminyak shell with a criss-crossed steel rod base in the spirit of the classic Eiffel-style chair, a lattice that reads as light and graphic from every angle. It is the lowest-sitting Seminyak, with a 16 in seat that feels more like a lounge chair, so it works best at lower tables, in lounges and in bedroom or reading corners. The base comes in chrome, black, gold or a bold red, with plastic glides at each foot. The shell is foam on plywood, fully upholstered, for Mid-Century and Pop-inspired interiors.

Planning notes

• The 16 in seat is lower than a standard dining chair; pair it with tables of about 27 to 28 in, or use it as a lounge chair.
• At 25 in wide, allow about 28 to 30 in per chair.
• Arms stand 26 in high; check your table apron.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

How low is the seat?

The seat is 16 in high, lower than a typical 18 in dining chair, so it suits lower tables and lounge use.

What does the Tower base look like?

Steel rods cross between the legs in an open lattice, finished in chrome, black, red or gold.

Will the arms fit under my table?

The arms are 26 in high. Measure from the floor to the underside of your table apron; if it is lower than the arms, the chair will rest against the table edge instead of sliding under.

How much weight does it hold?

It is rated for 250 lb.

Why do the prices differ?

Faux leather costs least. Camira Era fabric and the off white boucle sit in the middle tier, and Camira Blazer wool is the top tier. The gold base adds a small surcharge over chrome, black and red.

Can I order a different fabric?

Yes. It can be made in your own material: 1.7 yd of fabric or 29 sq ft of leather. Contact us for customer's-own-material orders.
