Size and Finish. Walnut and natural ash are real wood veneers with visible grain; white lacquer is a smooth painted finish, high gloss on most sizes. Wood grain varies from top to top, and screens show color slightly differently than real life.

These round wood tops finish a sohoConcept pedestal table, from a 21.5 in end table to a 43.5 in dining table for four. Each is a 1.2 in thick engineered core faced in walnut or natural ash veneer, or finished in white lacquer, and the 36 in Plus top steps up to a 1.8 in edge for a heavier, more solid look. Wood brings warmth to cafes and kitchens where marble or glass would feel cold, and veneer over a stable core resists the warping that solid boards can show. Pair it with a Tango, Daisy or Diana base in the height you need.

Care

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills right away with a damp cloth, then dry. Use coasters and trivets; standing water, heat and alcohol can mark veneer and lacquer. Skip abrasive pads, silicone polishes and ammonia cleaners. Real wood veneer varies in grain and tone from top to top.

What size top should I choose?

21.5 in suits end and lounge tables. Choose 28 or 32 in for two people, 36 in for two to three and 40 or 43.5 in for four.

Is it solid wood?

No. It is an MDF core faced in real walnut or natural ash veneer, or finished in white lacquer. The veneer gives real wood grain while the core stays flat.

What is the Plus top?

The 36 in Plus top is 1.8 in thick instead of 1.2 in, for a heavier, more solid-looking edge. It comes in walnut veneer.

Which bases does it fit?

It fits the Tango round bases with a Tango / Daisy post, the Daisy 5-star base and the Diana bases.

Why do the prices differ?

Price rises with diameter. Within one size, walnut, ash and white lacquer cost the same; the 36 in Plus top costs more than the standard 36 in top.

Can I use it outdoors?

No. Veneer and lacquer are for indoor use only.
