Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers; velvet, boucle and Camira Era are upholstery fabrics. Camira Blazer is a pure new wool, and full-grain leather is the top tier. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Leg finishes
The Pera MW (metal-wood) stool stands the Pera seat on four tapered steel legs braced by crossed chrome wires and a chrome footrest ring, a nod to classic Mid-Century Eiffel bases. Order the legs in black, stainless steel, or natural or walnut wood veneer over steel. A memory swivel mechanism is optional: the seat turns and returns to face forward, which keeps a long row of stools tidy in a restaurant or along an island; it adds about 1 in to the seat height. The sprung, foam-molded seat has a removable Velcro slipcover, and plastic glides protect the floor.

Planning notes
- Counter (24 in seat) fits 35 to 37 in counters; Bar (29 in seat) fits 40 to 42 in bar tops. With the memory swivel, add about 1 in.
- Allow about 24 in of counter per stool, or 26 in with the swivel.
- Leave 10 to 12 in between the seat and the counter underside.
- The memory swivel returns the seat to center, so the line of stools looks reset after guests leave.

Care
Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

What does MW stand for?
MW means metal-wood: steel legs that can be finished in natural or walnut wood veneer, as well as in black or stainless steel.
Does the Pera MW swivel?
It can. Choose the memory swivel option and the seat turns, then returns to face forward. The fixed seat does not turn.
Does the swivel change the height?
Yes. The memory swivel mechanism raises the seat by about 1 in, to roughly 25 in on the counter stool and 30 in on the bar stool.
How much weight does it hold?
The Pera MW is rated for 300 lb.
Why do the prices differ?
