Seat upholstery. Faux leather is the entry option. PPM and PPM-FR are polyurethane performance leathers; velvet, boucle and Camira Era are upholstery fabrics. Camira Blazer is a pure new wool, and full-grain leather is the top tier. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.
Leg finishes
The Pera Max Swivel gives the Pera seat a full swivel on top of four straight steel tube legs tied together by a round footrest ring, a sturdy four-point stance with the freedom to turn. It is the Pera to choose for restaurant counters, sports bars and kitchen islands where guests turn between the counter and the room. The legs come in black powder coat, polished stainless steel, walnut veneer over steel with a polished footrest, or brass. Each leg ends in a plastic glide, and the sprung, foam-molded seat has a removable Velcro slipcover.

Planning notes
- Choose Counter (24 in seat) for 35 to 37 in counters, Bar (29 in seat) for 40 to 42 in bar tops.
- Swivel stools need extra elbow room: plan about 26 in of counter per stool.
- Leave 10 to 12 in of knee space under the counter.
- Polished stainless suits stainless appliances; brass and walnut warm up a dark bar.

Care
Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.

Does the whole seat swivel?
Yes. The seat turns a full circle on the four-leg base while the legs stay put.

Yes. A round footrest ring joins the legs on both heights.

Why do the prices differ?
Faux leather seats cost the least; PPM, velvet, boucle and Camira Era fabric are mid-priced; Camira Blazer wool and full-grain leather cost the most. Brass legs carry an upcharge over black, stainless steel and walnut veneer.
Are the walnut legs solid wood?
No. They are steel tubes finished in walnut veneer, which keeps the swivel base strong.
