Finish. Solid grade A teak in a natural finish with stainless steel folding hardware. The optional cushion uses a waterproof, fade-resistant outdoor fabric. Screens show color slightly differently than real life.

The Pedasa rocking armchair puts the slatted Pedasa back and broad arms on long teak rockers, a classic porch rocker in weather-resistant grade A teak. The tall back supports the shoulders, the 19 in seat is easy to get in and out of, and the curved runners give a smooth, even rock on decking or patio stone. Mortise and tenon joints keep the frame tight through years of use, and a waterproof outdoor seat cushion can be added.

Care

Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
