The Pedasa folding armchair adds broad teak arms to the slatted Pedasa dining chair, giving head-of-table seating that still folds flat for winter storage. Solid grade A teak and mortise and tenon joints make it a sturdy everyday patio chair rather than an occasional extra. The arms help guests sit down and stand up, and the slatted seat drains quickly after rain. Add the waterproof outdoor seat cushion for long lunches on the terrace.

Care

Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
