Leg finishes

The Patara MW pairs the Patara seat with the Mid-Century Eiffel-style base: four dowel-style steel legs braced by a cross of thin wires. MW stands for metal and wood, and the legs come in walnut or natural veneer over steel, in black powder coat, or in stainless steel, with contrasting wires. The wire bracing keeps the slender legs rigid, so the chair feels solid while staying visually light around a table. Add the optional memory swivel and the seat turns, then returns to face forward, about 1 in higher.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
