Base finishes

The Patara Carrot swivels on a solid metal hub that branches into four tubular legs tapering to a point, the carrot shape that gives it its name. The two-tone finishes are the draw: black legs with brass tips for a dark, dressy room, or walnut legs with polished stainless tips for a warmer Mid-Century look. A swivel at the hub lets diners turn without moving the chair, handy at round tables and in compact dining nooks. The Patara seat above is a sprung steel frame in molded foam with a removable cushion and a zip-on cover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
