Leg finishes

The Patara Ana puts the Patara seat on four tapered steel legs tied together by a metal ring below the seat, a detail that braces the frame and reads like jewelry on the chair. Choose walnut-veneer legs with a chrome ring for a Mid-Century look, or black legs with a brass or chrome ring for a crisper Modern finish. The ring stiffens the base, so the Ana carries a 350 lb rating and suits hard-working restaurant rooms as well as homes. Each leg ends in a screw-in plastic glide, and the sprung, foam-molded seat wears a removable zip-on cover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
