Base finishes

The Patara 4 Star sets the Patara seat on a four-prong star base with a memory swivel built in, so the chair turns freely and then settles back to face the table. That self-centering action keeps dining rooms, boardrooms and restaurant rows looking orderly without anyone straightening chairs. The low, 24.4 in wide star spreads the load on four plastic-tipped feet and comes in chrome, black, white, gold or brass to match tables and lighting. The sprung, foam-molded seat has a removable cushion and a zip-on slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
