The Paramount square end table is a 20 x 20 in folding teak table that slots neatly between two outdoor chairs or squares up against a railing. The slatted top drains after rain, and the crossed legs fold so the table stores flat in the off-season. It is solid grade A teak with mortise and tenon joints, and at 18 in high it suits lounge chairs as well as low dining chairs for a quick coffee.

Care

Grade A teak is a naturally oily, weather-resistant hardwood. Left outdoors it slowly weathers to a soft silver-grey, and the grain may rise slightly after the first few soakings. Clean it once or twice a year with a soft brush, mild soap and water; never use a power washer, which erodes the surface. Teak cannot be painted or varnished. For winter storage use a dry shed or garage, and do not move the piece straight from the cold into a heated room, as sudden changes in temperature and humidity can split the wood.
