Morelato is a sculptural wood dining chair whose solid ash frame sweeps up from the rear legs into a curved top rail that doubles as a low arm, so you get the support of an armchair in the footprint of a side chair. The padded seat is upholstered in PPM-S performance leather and sits at a standard 18 in height for 29 to 30 in dining tables. Choose a walnut-finished frame for a warm Mid-Century look or a black-finished frame for a graphic, modern one. The open, low back keeps sightlines clear in open-plan kitchens, and the chair is rated for 350 lb for daily restaurant service.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Dust the wood with a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Wood, leather and fabric vary naturally in grain and shade from piece to piece.

What makes the Morelato frame different?

The rear legs rise and curve forward into a top rail that also acts as a low armrest, so one continuous piece of solid ash forms the leg, back and arm.
