Base finishes

Marash Carrot sets the Marash seat on a swivel base whose four legs taper to a point like a carrot, each finished with a metal tip, all joined to a solid metal top piece under the seat. The tapered legs give the chair a tailored, Mid-Century line, and the swivel lets diners turn without scraping the floor. Two two-tone finishes are offered: black powder coat with brass, or walnut with polished stainless steel. Every Marash Carrot Swivel Dining Chair is built on a steel seat frame with S-shaped springs set in molded polyurethane foam, with a removable Velcro-fastened slipcover.

Care

Wipe faux leather and PPM with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. Vacuum fabric seats regularly and blot spills right away. Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth; skip abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which dull plated and powder-coated finishes. Leather and fabric vary slightly in shade from batch to batch.
