The Malibu is a chunky, architectural dining table: a thick slab-style top carried on equally thick panel legs in the same finish, so the whole table reads as one solid piece. Choose the 94.5 in large in walnut or wenge for eight to ten, or the 79 in medium in natural or wenge for six to eight. The heavy proportions suit Contemporary and Japandi rooms, and the solid feel makes it a natural meeting or work table. One price covers every size and finish on offer.

Dust the top with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills right away. Use coasters, placemats and trivets; veneer and lacquer can mark from heat and standing water.
